Chamber donation boosts EPIC’s Charity of the Year fundraising total

EPIC has received a £250 charitable donation from Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, which will be added to the fundraising pot for its Charity of the Year, Stoke Thrive at Five.

The donation forms part of a Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce initiative that has seen £250 donated to each of its 38 charity member partners. The funding was raised through Chamber fundraising events, including its Charity Quiz and Charity Football Tournament.

EPIC joined Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce in August 2025 and is proud to be part of a network that supports charities and community organisations across the county.

The £250 donation will be added to EPIC’s ongoing Charity of the Year fundraising efforts and presented to Stoke Thrive at Five at the end of the current financial year alongside funds raised through a range of fundraising activities.

Stoke Thrive at Five works to improve outcomes for young children and families across Stoke-on-Trent by bringing together partners, communities and organisations to give every child the best start in life.

Tracey Johnson, Chief Executive of EPIC, said:

“We’re extremely grateful to Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce for this generous donation. Having joined the Chamber in August 2025, we’ve already seen first-hand the positive impact it has on connecting organisations that care about making a difference in their communities. Rather than allocating the funding immediately, we’ll be adding it to our Charity of the Year pot, which will be presented to Stoke Thrive at Five at the end of this financial year. Every contribution helps us maximise the support we can provide to the charity and the important work it does for children and families across Stoke-on-Trent.”

EPIC would like to thank Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and everyone who supported the fundraising events that made the donation possible.
