EPIC Housing’s first Meir Breakfast Club session 31 July 2024

On Wednesday 31 July EPIC Housing held our first of a monthly free breakfast club at Normacot Grange Community Building in Meir from 9:30am to 11:30am.

The event offered people a chance to catch up with neighbours as well as chat to staff, while enjoying a free breakfast of cereal, toast, tea, coffee and juice (with gluten free options also available).

Tenants came along and chatted to each other and staff. As the event took place during the school summer holidays there were even a few younger guests. The nice weather meant people were able to sit outside while enjoying a cuppa and a chat!

Feedback from the first session was positive – tenants said they found it beneficial and enjoyed socialising with staff and other tenants. As this is a monthly event, we hope that going forwards more and more tenants will pop by and see us. We’ll also be inviting a range of partner organisations for tenants to engage with at the sessions.

The next Meir Breakfast Club will be on Wednesday 28 August from 9:30am until 11:30am.
