Ending Your Tenancy
If you wish to end your tenancy you must give us at least four weeks’ notice in writing. The four week notice period will start on a Monday and end on a Sunday. You can download and complete a Notice to Terminate Tenancy (Word version) or (PDF version) and send it to us by email – mailbox@epichousing.co.uk.
We may arrange for an applicant to view the property during your notice period. Your cooperation with this is much appreciated.
Before handing in your keys you should clear the property and garden of all your furniture and personal possessions. The exception to this is when you have sold items to the people who are going to move in and told us about this. If any other items or rubbish are left in the premises, we will dispose of them and charge you for the cost of doing so.
You should also ensure any outstanding rent and other costs are paid before you return the keys. We will take action against you to recover any unpaid rent and other costs.
You should return all keys to our office by 12.00pm on the final Monday of your notice period. You will continue to be charged rent until we have received the keys and your signed document to formally end your tenancy.
If you wish to end a tenancy on behalf of someone who has passed away, or for another reason, please email mailbox@epichousing.co.uk and we will contact you to discuss the situation.
