First Community Voice event to be held in Meir 13 November 2024
We’re delighted to announce our new quarterly tenant event, EPIC Housing Community Voice. You may remember we previously held our ‘Big Conversation’ event – upon reviewing this format with our colleagues at EPIC, our Board and our Tenant Ambassadors, we’ve come up with a new approach.
Community Voice events will be held once a quarter and split across Meir and Bentilee. We’ve agreed they’ll take place evenings and weekends, to hopefully allow more people to attend. Our first Community Voice event will take place on Wednesday 13 November at 6.30pm until 8.30 pm at Normacot Grange Community Centre on Burgundy Grove. As its teatime, we’re inviting everyone to come and enjoy a fish and chip supper with us! You’ll also get the opportunity to talk to our CEO Tracey Johnson and one of our Board members.
During the session we’d like to talk to you about what our tenants told us on our recent STAR Survey, how you think we’re performing, and what we’re doing with that information to ensure we’re responding to your concerns. There’ll also be a Question & Answer session, where we can discuss anything that’s on your mind relating to being an EPIC Housing tenant, and to tell us about any priorities or concerns you have in your community.
This event is open to all EPIC tenants, whether you live in Meir, Bentilee or Hanley. We realise that transport can sometimes be an issue, so we’ll be providing transport for anyone who needs it.
If you’d like to come along, please let us know by Friday 8 November, to make sure those fish and chips don’t go cold! You can let us know, either by:
- Emailing reception@epichousing.co.uk
- Calling reception on 01782 252575 (Mon-Fri, 9 am to 4 pm)
- Booking via Eventbrite: EPIC Housing Community Voice Tickets, Wed 13 Nov 2024 at 18:30 | Eventbrite
- Popping into reception at Ubberley (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm)
If you have any special dietary or access requirements, or require transport to and from the venue, please let us know when you contact us.
We look forward to seeing you there and offering you the opportunity to talk to us about the issues affecting you and your tenancy, so we can improve and shape our services to you.
