Repairs Policy Consultation from EPIC Housing
We regularly review our policies to ensure that they remain compliant with updated legislation and fit with our current structure, business plan and Corporate Plan. This review is part of our ongoing work to ensure that we remain compliant with our responsibilities and that the policy aligns with our current structure.
Whilst the Repairs Policy defines how we respond to repairs to your home, the proposed changes will not affect anything in this regard. Our responses to repair requests, timescales for repairs to be carried out, and repair responsibilities are not being altered in this update and you will see no changes to these.
The proposed changes cover:
- References to job roles within the policy;
- Removed references to policies and procedures which have been combined or absorbed into new policies;
- Added references to new policies and procedures that have been introduced since the last review of the Repairs Policy.
However, we do still need to ask for feedback on these proposed changes from our tenants, to ensure that the policy matches your needs and expectations.
A copy of the updated Repairs Policy can be found here for you to read and if you have any comments about the policy, we ask that you contact us to let us know.
You can get in touch via:
