Tenants Come Together for EPIC’s Community Voice Event
We were delighted to welcome eight tenants to our Community Voice session on Saturday.
After agreeing our shared expectations of how this session and further sessions should run, we shared updates on the Pride in Place initiative taking place across Bentilee and Ubberley, along with details of an upcoming apprenticeship event that EPIC is sponsoring. Tenants also heard about a new tenant group we’re developing in summer 2026, which will offer even more opportunities for residents to shape and influence our services.
For the rest of the morning, tenants shared their feedback with us. Much of this was positive – particularly around the repairs they’ve received from our contractors, and there were also helpful suggestions about where we can continue to improve.
With hot drinks and oatcakes, the session had a relaxed and welcoming feel, and tenants told us they found the morning both useful and enjoyable.
Our next Community Voice event will take place in Bentilee on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 6.30 – 8.30pm. As this session is in the evening, a chippy tea will be available for everyone who attends. We’d love to see as many tenants as possible, so please keep an eye on your emails and EPIC’s social media channels for registration details closer to the time.
A word from our CEO, Tracey Johnson:
“It’s fantastic to see our Community Voice programme continue to grow. Each event gives us real insight into tenants’ experiences – what’s working well and where we can make things better. I want to thank everyone who joined us on Saturday and shared their views so openly. Your voice genuinely shapes the decisions we make at EPIC. Having at least one of our Board Trustees at these events too, helps to share tenants’ messages back to all members of the Board.”
